The objective of the Laundry department is to ensure prompt collection of dirty/ infective linens from the wards, units and other sources in the Hospital for processing, disinfections and prompt delivery.

The Nursing Services Department renders comprehensive 24 hours nursing care to both out patients and inpatients. For continuity, services are rendered with coordination by the compound office. The department functions by attending to health care needs of patients through individualized care and involvement of patients in their care through health education. Motivation of staff of the department to embrace modern trends in health care delivery through continuing education.

Department Units And Staff Position
There are 16 units in the department with a total bed complement of 226 beds. The total staff strength is made up 222 nurses and 121 auxiliary staff. The staff of the department enjoyed management sponsorship for the following courses during year 2009/2010 as follows: -
