Plaster Technique Training Program
The Plastic technique training programme also started as an on-the-Job training programme in 1987 but later evolved into a full fledged six months training for Ward Attendants in 1994. Participants at this training programme are drawn from all the Northern States and beyond.
Plans to upgrade the Plaster Technique Training Programme to a two-year course have been articulated and actually presented to the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for approval. This plan which is aimed at providing better quality training for the participants and at making them qualify for advancement in the Health Assistant cadre with the National Certificate they will be issued at the end of the course.
